Participatory Video (PV) for Impact Measurement
What We Do
At Cameye Arts, we use Participatory Video (PV) to help communities and organisations capture authentic stories of change and evaluate the impact of social programmes. By giving stakeholders the tools to film their own experiences, we amplify marginalised voices and create powerful evidence for social impact.
Participatory Video (PV) is a highly engaging and inclusive evaluation tool that allows stakeholders to document their own experiences in an emotional, visual, and personal way. Unlike written reports, PV empowers participants to share stories in their own words, ensuring their perspectives are accurately represented, and gaining a deeper understanding of organisational outcomes.

Most Significant Change (MSC) Storytelling
The Most Significant Change (MSC) technique is a participatory evaluation method that collects personal stories of transformation instead of relying on predefined indicators. It allows communities to define what matters most to them rather than being restricted by external frameworks.
How it Works:
Story Circles – Participants share their experiences of change.
Story Selection – The most powerful stories are chosen by the group.
Filming – Participants capture selected stories on video.
Screening & Discussion – Videos are shared for deeper analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement – Insights inform policies and improve programmes.
By combining PV with MSC, we create a compelling, community-led approach to impact measurement that is engaging, inclusive, and action-driven.

Story-Driven Impact Reports
We transform community-led video stories into powerful reports that provide qualitative insights into programme effectiveness. These reports are designed to:
Highlight key themes and insights emerging from participant stories.
Present a clear narrative of the social impact achieved.
Be used for advocacy, fundraising, and policy recommendations.
With PV-based impact reports, organisations can move beyond numbers and showcase real-world change through lived experiences.
