Ana de Matos
FOUNDER/DIRECTOR
Ana (she/they) is a queer filmmaker with an Anthropology background. In the last 18 years years, she has worked with hundreds of artists and the UK’s leading arts organisations. She is an all-round filmmaker that directs, produces, camera and edits. Ana has been awarded three Project Grants by Arts Council England and one Commonwealth Broadcast Association grant.
Suzie Boavida
CO-DIRECTOR
Suzie (she/her) is an ex-Medical Doctor and international film and television executive with over ten years of working in the creative industries. At Warner Bros, Suzie acted in a Chief of Staff role for the UK and Spanish office and was one of the key executives managing the Harry Potter franchise at a global level. She holds an MBA from London Business School. In 2021, Suzie co-founded Magic Dust Visual effects, a London-headquartered visual effects company, with Ahmed Yousry, a VFX supervisor.
Lynn Lu
CO-DIRECTOR
Lynn (she/her) is a performance artist that exhibits, performs, and lectures extensively worldwide. Recent venues include SFMOMA (2021), National Gallery Singapore (2021), Science Gallery London (2017), Saatchi Gallery (2017). Lynn will be working on the artistic, performative and exhibition side of your projects.
Simon Cole
WALKING TOUR FACILITATOR
Simon (he/him) Artivist. Sustainable travel innovator & cultural entrepreneur. Alt tour guide & community arts thought-provocateur. Writer, walking artist-performer. He founded Hackney Tours as a way of sharing his enthusiasm for our surroundings but also exploring the many issues thrown up by a changing city in a changing world.
Silke Beller
PARTICIPATORY VIDEO FACILITATOR
Silke (she/her) is a documentary filmmaker, participatory video facilitator, and Visual Anthropologist based in London. With over 20 years in the field, her work is rooted in fostering engagement, healing, and dialogue through storytelling. As the director of Glocal Films, a nonprofit production company, she collaborates with communities and organisations worldwide, using participatory video as a tool for social change and intercultural understanding..
Wajid Yaseen
MENTOR / PARTNER
Wajid (he/him) directs Modus Arts, a community-interest organisation and Arts Council NPO – that draws on interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to developing public-facing sound-based artworks and events. Wajid is a mentor and partner in the development of our projects.
Guy Harries
ASSOCIATE ARTIST
Guy (he/him) is a composer, sound artist and performer, working with electronics, acoustic instruments, voice and cross-disciplinary collaboration. He is a senior lecturer in music, and co-director of the research centre CPAD (Centre for Performing Arts Development). Guy will be enabling the sonic experiments for community workshops.
Jia-Yu Corti
ASSOCIATE ARTIST
Jia-Yu (she/her) works at the intersection of choreography, dance, theatre, and performance art. She recently collaborated with NEUROLIVE in Performing and Not Performing, Siobhan Davies Dance community project Power, and performed at Marina Abramović’s RA Retrospective 2023. She will lead on matters of the body, movement and embodiment for our creative workshops.
Sat Shakti
WELLBEING CONSULTANT
Sat Shakti (she/her) from JOY Yoga will lead our wellbeing efforts through yoga and meditation practices that can improve mental health, creativity, and overall wellbeing. She is a former ballet dancer originally from NYC, she has a background in business and the arts.
