Our Vision
A world where storytelling empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and drives meaningful social change, fostering a more inclusive, connected, and compassionate society.
Our Mission
To amplify underrepresented voices, celebrate diversity and create transformative change through – creative storytelling projects, training and tailored services.
By equipping individuals and organisations with the tools to tell their own stories, we aim to bridge divides, foster resilience and inspire action.
Our Story
Cameye Arts CIC was founded by Ana de Matos, a queer filmmaker, visual anthropologist, yogi, and passionate advocate for social change. The idea for Cameye Arts emerged while Ana was leading filmmaking workshops at the Stratford Youth Zone, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact that imagination, creativity, and support can have on individuals – inspiring her to establish Cameye Arts as a platform for empowerment and growth.
Based in Newham, Cameye Arts is committed to serving the local community while also setting sights on expanding into other parts of London. Through creative projects and multimedia storytelling, the organisation aims to spark lasting change in underrepresented communities, helping people to connect with their own potential and the world around them.
